Your work is not about you. It’s about those you serve. And in order to serve those people at the highest level, you must get out of your own way.
A few of the most common inner struggles soul powered entrepreneurs face in their work are the fear of not being enough, fear of judgment/criticism, and fear of expressing themselves fully.
I see these fears specifically with those who have a personal brand, where they are the face of their business and people are paying for their unique services.
Service based personal brands require you to be seen, heard, and understood by your audience daily. Also, they demand you to embody your mission and express yourself unapologetically.
This is terrifying for most people, which is why most people will never do it successfully.
“What will people think if I post online everyday? What if I’m really not as good at this as I thought? Or what if my launch fails?”
This self doubt and fear will cripple your ability to show up fully for those you are here to serve.
If you notice this pattern in yourself, know that you are not alone and you CAN shift your mindset to support your greater mission.
So, remember this…
Your ego is the only thing getting in the way of you doing the soul work you are designed to do in this life.
Your ego is the aspect of you that is afraid of failure, judgement, and being seen. The battle in your head is between your scared ego and your spirit calling you higher.
Your spirit is here to serve, and that requires the ego to step aside. It requires tremendous courage to be vulnerable and put yourself out there.
I know these fears all too well. I’ve had to face them every time I create a new retreat, coaching program, teacher trainings, online course, etc.
The difference is, I don’t let these fears hold me back. I’ve learned how to cope and face them head on.
I know from 12 years of experience that everything I desire exists on the other side of those fears.
So, when those fears arise in you, walk right through them. Take bold action in the direction of your soul’s calling.
Over time you will get better at this, but you must be willing to feel the feels.
Entrepreneurship is the ultimate spiritual journey.
